Gardner's Park Montauk Highway West Islip (DOG FRIENDLY!)

We take our Golden Retriever Bailey here all the time! Its a nice scenic walk! you can either take the main trail witch connects to other wooded trails or take the main trail all the way up to the bay where you get a nice view of the robert Moses bridge and Fire Island light house. Note: WEAR YOUR BUG SPRAY! this place gets buggy at times! Nice place to see and hear ( mostly hear) lots of different birds. Dogs are allowed on leash only! There are also doggie poop bags and garbage cans provided along the main trail! There is also a small pond where people can fish!  lots of parking too!
